Episode 5 "Childlike Faith"

This was how I felt for many years IN MY FAITH.

I used to say to God: "If I could just stay in the church, I could do it!"

Outside, in the real world it was so tiring! But, I found it also difficult in the church - in the christian culture - feeling like everyone around me thought I was a weirdo! I was desperately looking and believing for miracles, signs and wonders and yet others seemed content with the status quo.

You see, I started out really believing what I read in the Bible was true and available even for me. During the first month of my conversion, I experienced wind words and a vision! My beginnings were filled with child-like faith and His supernatural help and intervention in my everyday life.

Then I began to want to know more and in the pursuit of learning to be a better Christian, I became independent and thought I had knowledge and ability. I learned so much more and ended up believing less. Oh I continued in my Bible, said my prayers and went with the flow of the culture...but it wasn't the same. Something was wrong - I believe my Believer went dormant and my expectations changed.

Jesus says, "Come to me. Get away with me...I'll show you how to take a rest..."  Math 11:28b msg

Years went by before I began to seek and search God for why He wasn't doing His part. What I heard was that I was the problem! I didn't believe. I had grown up instead of staying childlike. Until I learned - to take a real rest while walking and working; to die that I might live; to stop up my ears that I might listen and to blind my eyes that I could see... Until I learned that there is no neutral ground and that this is war; if I am not on His side, then I'm making it worse; if I disagree with what He says and what the Word says, that I'm wrong and that learning to surrender is to have freedom - then I will have no peace.

You will find me open, honest, transparent & vulnerable as I share from my arsenal... I call life.

Ep 4 "Get Steeped"

This episode compares our time with God to a cup of tea?  Yep! 

Focusing on the word STEEP, I dig into the possibilities it can have for us if we practice steeping or soaking as a form of prayer.  If you consider the changes to both the water and a tea bag while steeping, could we be  influenced in a similar way?  Changing our character and maybe even our destiny as we surrender our words.   Prayer without talking?  A challenge for sure, and different then most are used to...but it always ends up with us closer to Him!  Come on in and check this out.

Slid To Salvation

Sharing the story of my supernatural exchange of knowledge for life.  Jesus calls it being "born from above" in John 3 of the Message Bible, which is read in this episode. Surrendered, saved, christian, bible thumper, believer, committed, inviting Him into your heart.  I don't know what language you want to use, but I know this, there is a difference of eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil ,verses eating from the Tree of Life.
